Manager/Supervisor
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Copper-Moly Mill and Flotation Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mineral processing, with a focus on copper and molybdenum flotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our mill and flotation circuits, ensuring that production targets are met, and that all safety and environmental regulations are followed.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the operation of the mill and flotation circuits.
- Ensure that production targets are met, and that all equipment is operating efficiently.
- Monitor and control the quality of the final concentrate, ensuring that it meets customer specifications.
- Implement and maintain safety and environmental protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Train and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as geology and metallurgy, to optimize the extraction and processing of copper and molybdenum ores.
- Maintain accurate records of production and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and five (5) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline with at least one summer internship experience (or equivalent) working in a mining or industrial environment- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to mining and mineral processing.
- Familiarity with computerized process control systems.
