Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
The E&I technician will utilize their skills and knowledge of electrical equipment, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rigging, in our continuous pulp and paper process manufacturing environment to achieve equipment run ability.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electrical, electronic and instrumentation devices.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems.
- Initiate and complete work-orders and document all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis.
- The successful candidate will possess the following experience in an industrial setting. Motor Control Experience Experience with VFD’s Experience in PLC Controls & I/O Wiring Voltage Experience 13,200
- Efficiency with Meters and Electrical Tools Process Control Experience
Skills and Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years' experience required
· Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understanding and application of mathematical and electrical formulas is essential.
Physical Demands:
To be eligible for this position, an individual must possess the following requirements to perform the essential job functions:
· Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion
· Ability to hear sufficiently to distinguish various pitches of warning alarms.
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
