Warehouse Technician
The Warehouse Tech will provide a key supporting role to the Supply Chain team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Receiving of all incoming goods into Pronto ERP.
· Comparing physical count and materials to accompanying bill of lading from the shipper as well as company purchasing records to ensure the proper materials and appropriate quantities are received.
· Prepare over/short report when discrepancies are noted and notify purchasing department to initiate remedial action.
· Inspect all incoming goods for physical damage, prepare damage reports when necessary.
· Mark all incoming goods with Purchase Order number, Requisitioner and accounting codes when practical.
· Stage warehouse replenishment stock for later storing of received goods in the appropriate location.
· Stage Direct Issue orders properly annotated for pickup by the Requisitioner or direct delivery of goods to appropriate physical location on site. Arrange escort for delivery vehicles when necessary. Notify Requisitioner of arrival of materials; follow up notification of materials not picked up by Requisitioner in a reasonable time frame (three days).
· Record receipt of materials in information system and properly file and/or route all documentation used or created in the receiving process in the appropriate place or to the appropriate personnel.
· Perform other tasks related to receiving, safeguarding, and routing of materials as directed.
· Prepare for and arrange shipment of materials being returned and/or being sent out for rebuild as requested by company personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Strong work ethic.
· Intermediate computer skills, mostly data entry.
· Ability to run package scales, pallet jack, climb ladders.
· Must possess a valid Driver’s license and be able to operate a light vehicle.
Required to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation.
